My passion for cooking started early, since I was little, my favourite place is the kitchen with my mother and grandmother. At the age of 20 I took a technological specialisation course in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at 24, I was starting my degree in Food Production in restaurants. The more I studied and studied cooking, the nutrients, the flavours, the more this complete and complex world fascinates me. However, cooking is not my only passion, my desire to help and change lives, made my mission in the kitchen the awareness and conscious in eating habits, healthy cooking, adapted to each body. We are what we eat, we are what we digest, and then Alquimia da Horta was born. A kitchen that uses food as medicine, that cares about the individual body, your health and giving you the right fuel to work. Our body is a perfect machine and that’s what Alquimia da Horta wants to reward.

Since 2019, I have been working in the specific area of retreats and observing the benefits and changes that people bring to their lives. In addition to the retreats, I also make 7 Day detox food plans. We know that changes are difficult to make, especially if we make the same mistakes, for years and years in a row, in the Alquimia da Horta, we have a message to pass the conscious in food, in the way we eat, what we eat and how.

In 2022 I had the pleasure of having my first experience in working with psychedelic medicinal plants in retreats, I could observe how they can be used as a therapeutic catalyst, I had the pleasure to observe by supporting as a facilitator In ceremony’s. Just like in cooking, I use plants and their medicine, and turn them into dishes, psychedelic medicines can be also used as trauma and mental therapies.
